What you will do as a Customer Service Professional:
The Customer Service Professional communicates directly with clients to build rapport with the Agency and provide excellent service to meet our clients' needs.
Additionally, the Customer Service Professional will team with the Agency Principal to ensure a positive client experience from the initial quoting process through each renewal cycle.
These contributions will help build and maintain a professional and supportive working environment, create additional growth opportunities for the team members, and help make the Agency successful.
Supports the team and clients through the new business application process and follows through to ensure policies are issued correctly, payments are received, and the clients enjoy a positive experience.
Processes clients' policy requests through carrier systems and follows through to ensure changes are issued correctly and communicates the impact to the clients so they know what to expect.
Follows-up to ensure all required client documents are obtained and provided to the carriers in a timely manner to ensure smooth transactions and maintain clients' discounts.
Communicates with clients directly to promote excellent customer service by handling incoming phone, FAX, and e-mail requests for assistance, including billing questions, payments, policy changes, and requests for documents.
Assists clients during their refinance and purchase and/or escrow process by providing the required insurance certificates in a timely process.
Identifies opportunities to offer new products and services to existing clients and coordinates a conversation with the Insurance Consultant or Agency Principal.
Follows up on all claims with clients to ensure they have been contacted, and if additional assistance is needed Licensed Customer Service Professionals also have an opportunity to generate additional personal income (commission) for new clients they bring to the Agency.
Skills and
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Prior use of a Client Management System (CMS) or database At least one year of Insurance Agency office experience and knowledge of personal lines insurance products Strong communication skills Must be Property and Casualty licensed, actively pursuing the license, or willing to obtain license within 6 months of hire A strong desire to provide excellent customer service A strong desire to work with and build a team A desire to continually learn and support the Mission and Philosophies of theAgency Attributes for Success:
