Full time position driving an 18-passenger vehicle for the SCV Senior Center.
Organizational Background:
The SCV Senior Center is a 40-year old non-profit organization that serves over 10,000 seniors each year.
We focus on nutrition, support services, day services, and many other services/activities that enhance the quality of life for Seniors.
Responsibilities:
Transport seniors and disabled passengers Load and unload in a safe manner, seniors and their personal items.
Conduct daily pre and post trip inspections of vehicles, fill out pre and post trip forms Maintain accurate route sheets.
Assist with special projects as needed or other duties as assigned.
Able to handle emergency situations effectively Qualifications Required:
Class B bus Operator license and Passenger endorsement.
Minimum 2 years driving experience.
Strong communication skills and interact with a warm, respectful, professional manner, able to perform physical requirements for driving a bus and loading assistance, lifting an average of 60 pounds, part-time, full-time, clear/pass background, Medical and DMV.
