Job Description:
As a Principal Practitioner for IT Infrastructure and Managed Services, be responsible for leading the delivery of cost-effective, scalable, and secure IT solutions. Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, and vendors to design, implement, and optimize IT infrastructure and managed services across cloud and on-premise environments. Oversee the management of IT assets, contracts, and licenses, ensuring compliance and alignment with business objectives. Lead the development and execution of IT infrastructure and managed services strategies, roadmaps, and projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, industry best practices, and regulatory standards. Manage the performance, availability, security, and scalability of IT infrastructure and managed services, including network, storage, compute, backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and automation tools. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and other team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and operational metrics for IT infrastructure and managed services, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. Conduct regular audits and reviews of IT assets, contracts, and licenses, identifying opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, and compliance enhancement. Establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners, negotiating contracts and service agreements, and managing escalations and issues. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in IT infrastructure and managed services, and provide recommendations for improvement and innovation. Support the sales and proposal process by providing technical expertise, solution design, and cost estimation for IT infrastructure and managed services opportunities. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create and deliver compelling presentations, demos, and proposals that showcase the value and benefits of IT infrastructure and managed services.
