Hardware Engineer
Santa Clarita, California
In this hands-on role, you can look forward to project involvement throughout the entire process! As Hardware Engineer, you will design electrical equipment and products, after which you will prepare test cases and procedures that demonstrate the ability of the developed electronic hardware. You will analyze circuits for timing, electrical stress and throughput; prepare qualification test plans and procedures, as well as requirements data for circuit-level and assembly-level testing; and prepare, or direct the preparation of, product or system layouts and detailed drawings and schematics. Finally, you will analyze test data and reports to determine if designs meet functional and performance specifications.
To qualify, you should hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering, and possess 5 to 7 years of hardware experience, and 5 or more years of FPGA experience. Experience with SOI and interface DO-234 audits is necessary, as well. Your expertise must include design and analog output/input, Ethernet digital outputs, development in EMC and EPI, and firmware. Redundancy experience (layout of the board leveraging embedded system and understanding of rugged firmware) is highly desired.
