Systems Engineer

In this hands-on role, you can look forward to project involvement throughout the entire process! As Systems Engineer, you will analyze customer technical requirements and develop appropriate system-level requirements, decompose and allocate those requirements to hardware and software, and define system verification tests and procedures. You will also develop hardware and software interface documents, define the scope of BIT, and create requirements analysis methods to support the system development.
To qualify, you should hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering, and possess 10 years of aerosystem experience. You must be articulate with hardware and software, and be an excellent communicator, as you will serve as the key liaison between engineers and clients. (Your resume should reveal strong experience in gathering info/requirements from clients and conveying back to the engineers and, alternatively, conferring with engineers in order to pass recommendations and suggestions back to clients.) Other requisites include a good understanding of cost, budget, trade-off compromises, etc., and knowledge of EMI/EMS. ARP-4754 and 4761 certification would be highly advantageous.
