Mission
As a Solar Sales Consultant you will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the company by generating and executing sales opportunities in the customers homes. You will be responsible for exceeding all daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets, selling profitable deals, 50% of which will come from self-generated activity.
Essential Job Functions
oConduct In-Home Sales Consultations daily to ensure all revenue targets are exceeded
oPartners with Field Marketers on daily canvassing and events when not actively selling in the home
oBuild trust and rapport with prospective customers
oDemonstrate uncompromising customer service
oOwns the customer experience from appointment confirmation through installation and communicates with the customer at assigned touch points throughout the entire process
oConduct accurate in-home needs assessments and corresponding analysis
oDesign customized energy solutions for customers
oDeliver outstanding presentations that create a high sense of urgency to act now and follow the Verengo twelve step sales process as outlined
oClosing 60% of all new deals on first call
oResolve concerns, eliminate obstacles, and overcome objections
oFollow-up on pipeline and post-sale logistics
oGenerate additional revenue through networking and collects referrals from each customer contact
oAttend company and departmental meetings as directed
oParticipate in ongoing training, development and certifications
oPartner with cross-functional departments to accomplish mutual objectives and ensure an outstanding customer experience
oCommunicate and share best practices with their supervisor
Job Requirements
oPrevious experience in a consultative sales environment, preferred
oPrevious experience in-home sales, preferred
oBachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of training and experience, preferred
oProfessional appearance and effective interpersonal skills
oStrong organizational skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
oCollaborative style with internal and external customers
oBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, and Excel
oCompetency in Internet navigation, the use of Webmail and CRM
oAbility to work a variety of hours, including nights and weekends
oReliable vehicle and insurance
oValid driver's license
oMust pass a background check and driving record check
